Does a sandbox affect the production environment? ​

No. A sandbox is independent of the production environment. Operations in a sandbox do not affect the production environment.

Do production environment changes sync to a sandbox automatically? ​

No. A sandbox is a copy of the source environment at a point in time. Later production environment changes do not automatically sync to an existing sandbox.

Does a Development Sandbox copy business data? ​

Usually not. A Development Sandbox copies configuration, not business data.

What scenarios suit a Partial Copy Sandbox? ​

A Partial Copy Sandbox suits user acceptance testing, integration testing, and training. It copies configuration and business data in a specified scope.

What scenarios suit a Full Sandbox? ​

A Full Sandbox suits release rehearsal and complete-chain validation. It copies configuration and all business data.

Can a sandbox be recovered after deletion? ​

No. Deleting a sandbox cannot be undone. Before deletion, confirm that the configuration and test data are no longer needed.

Why can't a sandbox be deleted? ​
