Configure scoring rules

Configure scoring metrics and output results as tags or field values.

Overview

Scoring rules automate record profiling and evaluation. Use basic conditions, formulas, related-record summaries, or weighted scoring. Output results as business tags or field updates.

Before you begin

IMPORTANT

  • You need permission to manage Scoring Rule Settings.
  • To apply tags, create the tag group and tags under Setup > Tag Management first.

Procedure

1. Enter basic information

  1. Go to Setup > Business Rule Management > Scoring Rule Settings.

  2. Click New or copy an existing rule.

  3. Configure a unique Rule Name, Applicable Object, Remarks, and Applicable Data Scope.

  4. Select Real-Time Update or a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly Scheduled Update.

2. Configure metric rules

Click Add Rule and select a type.

Basic rule

Compare object field values. For example, tag an Account as Key Enterprise when it has over 10,000 employees and annual revenue exceeds CNY 100 million.

Calculation rule

Create a formula with object fields, related fields, and global variables. Select a return type and null-value behavior. Click Syntax Check.

Statistical rule

Aggregate related records by count, sum, maximum, minimum, or average. Apply the aggregate to all or filtered records.

Scoring rule

Combine several dimensions. Use Dynamic Assignment to add or subtract points, or Direct Assignment to replace the score.

3. Configure results

  • Apply Tag Automatically: Apply an available tag when conditions match.
  • Modify Field Value: Write the result directly or map score ranges to values. For example, map [80, 100] to Grade A.

Click Save.

Recalculate historical data

  1. Enable the rule.
  2. Click Recalculate in its action column.
  3. The system runs an asynchronous batch task for existing records.
